This program lets you view all the fonts installed in your program, as well as to check their properties and compare them so you can choose the best fonts for your project.
The program is very easy to use. Once you have opened, you will see a small panel at the upper left corner of the interface. It shows previews of fonts not installed in your system, so you can visualize them before installing. The rest of the panels show all the fonts installed. You can click on any of them to show their properties.
An interesting function is the possibility of comparing different fonts. To do so, you only need to select a font and click on the Compare button. A new window will appear showing you a list of fonts, headed by the one you chose, and followed by the most similar ones, sorted by similarity. Also, the program lets you compare sample texts of each font, as well as their different features, such as capital and lowercase letters, accented characters, and so on. You can also form groups of fonts to use in a project requiring certain types of fonts. If you are a graphic designer, then this program can be useful for you.
The shareware version can be evaluated for 30 days. It shows a multi-colored moving band of text at the top asking you to register your copy. The Pop-up help and Tip of the day functions can only be deactivated in the registered version. Finally, a "nag screen" appears every now and then, and when you want to close it, the "cancel" button jumps around to prevent you from closing the window immediately. This is very annoying. If you want to get rid of these limitations, you will need to register your copy and pay the corresponding fee.
